Lovely coffee shop serving espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and smoothies. Plus pastries, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch. Beer (canned & draft) available, as well as bottles of wine. Packaged coffee and Lake Gaston t-shirts and caps are also available.

It's quite a strange setting. Its way too upscale of a vibe to find in NC where it's located. It seems they tried taking a New Hampshire beachfront upscale shop and transport it to the woods of NC? Didn't quite understand the concept for simple coffee! You pay for it too. As far as coffee goes, I'm not fond of paying more than $7 and some change. People pack the place though! I go to a place in Franklinton that is literally a shack. Its $3 for a cup of amazing coffee. $5 for a cup of YOUR brew. Why sell it for more in your own store? $$$ Hungry!

The service here is great, and the food is wonderful. :) I also love the atmosphere and the decor.

Our interaction with Lake Gaston Coffee Co is limited to on-line ordering of coffee beans and purchasing syrups at the Lake Gaston store. All of these interactions have been outstanding. The beans are ready for pickup within one day of ordering. Syrups are usually available in the store unless it’s around a holiday weekend.

The signal girl working at 7 am was the best! She had a great attitude and was very kind. I would just stay and talk with her so she wouldn't be lonely.

I don't believe they see many brown faces there.....But the venue is lovely. Super clean, cozy, and well stocked. My lil l chicken wrap I got was both costly and tasty. I had a nice bartender who took my order.

The coffee shop is enjoyable, with a friendly staff and consistently good food. Sometimes the music is absent, taking the atmosphere down a little, but the biggest change I would make would be putting felt or some kind of glider on the bottoms of the chair legs to help eliminate the scraping sound made when people pull their chairs around. It wouldn't hurt to put some on the bottoms of table legs too, since groups sometimes move those. All-in-all, The Lake Gaston Coffee Company is a nice place to visit. Thank you.
